ABOUT US
Camasa came a long way before arriving in Brazil. It was founded in Torino, Italy, in 2003 and has already developed projects in several locations besides Italy, such as: Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Abu Dhabi, New York, Miami, Israel, among others.
It arrived in Brazil through a project carried out in Manaus and after that, it settled in the state of São Paulo, where it is located until today. The affection and trust of Brazilians in our mission keeps the flame of motivation alive and the certainty that we are doing our work with excellence. We will always be grateful!
CONCEPT
Camasa was born from the dream of its founder, Carlo Perino, through a project in 2003 in Italy. We have European partners and Brazilian architects to take the dream off the paper and carry out your life project. For this, we use imported or domestic materials, capable of providing unique emotions in terms of beauty, finish, originality and functionality.
The philosophy that guides our work and its execution occurs through stones and is based on the 100% Italian philosophy in the art of creating and producing any product with passion and dedication. We seek to transmit a unique experience in terms of architecture and design offering luxury to anyone who wants it.
Our intention is to create a direct link between sophistication, design and the senses of the human body: touch, vision, taste and hearing.

THE MEANINGS OF THE HUMAN BEING
TOUCH
The surface finish of any marble or granite is capable of providing specific effects and sensations for those who touch it. This also helps in the perception of the environment and helps to compose the space.
We can see an example of this in the image on the side. This is our non-plastered Brushed Travertine with a surface finish that provides a smooth and glossy effect like satin. In this way, the rough touch of raw Travertine (without any treatment) can no longer be felt.
This type of finish has been growing in the market and it is already possible to foresee a great increase in its use by paulistanos.
EYESIGHT
Vision is one of the senses that most influence decisions in any situation of our life. Not infrequently, it is the sense that gives us the first impressions about a product.
Camasa has always sought to develop products and ideas out of the box capable of satisfying this sense, giving shape to what nature has created in a spectacular way.
This can be seen in our products. As for example, the Travertine "venato azzurro" in the photo, with its natural blue veins that provide a lush and elegant atmosphere, unique and luxurious. We also have the Moon Light Camasa Travertine that reflects a soft illumination on its surface. when the environment is in complete darkness.
TASTE
ITALY - MARBLE - WINE - BED
The land that produces great wines is the same that offers the most precious marbles in terms of quality and quantity. In these lands surrounded by vegetation between quarries, the best grapes are grown which give rise to the best known wines in the world. This is due to the richness in calcium that over time turns into marble, especially the light color that has been widely used in monuments and works throughout human history.
As an example, we have the beautiful region of Tuscany, in Italy. There, there are famous wines, among them Brunello di Montalcino. However, what few people know is that, many meters below these important vineyards, it is possible to find marble, more specifically the Tuscan Travertine. The main component of Travertine marble is calcium carbonate (of the carbonate family), with a not high hardness (about 3-4 of the Mohs scale).
HEARING
MARBLE PLAYS LIKE AN ORCHESTRA
It is very common to hit the marble block with a piece of stone to hear the sound it makes when trying to assess its quality. So it is not uncommon to find special speakers that are carved out of marble.
The invention of these speakers was due to the Italians and the effect caused by their touch is unique in the world and provides indescribable emotions: a true “Made in Italy”.
